Nice and quick service. Location right on the street is not great, fewer parking spaces than before because some were used to expand the beer garden. I can't judge the food as nothing was eaten.

The cook probably had a special bond with the salt ... So you always start with something good, in this case the very friendly and understanding service. But now on the subject of salt: The cook with us (7 people) only managed one dish to NOT over-salty. The rest was unfortunately inedible. But now comes the height: We then expressed normal criticism for one of our dishes (pork schnitzel with fries). Then the extremely annoyed and uncritical boss / cook came to our table with the statement: "We have now tried this with 4 people and all found it normal, but if that is too much for you you have to order without spices!" Then came the joking statement from one of our group: "Should I maybe cook with you?" After this joke, the boss gave us an indirect ban. I strongly recommend against it.

The only good thing was the very cold beer and the friendly and brisk waiter. Clearly no recommendation regarding the food. The salads were unfortunately not fresh and unkindly tipped from the can onto the plate - for the price you can definitely expect more. It's a shame, but we're not coming here any more.

How can it be that you still have no food after 1.5 hours ?! And that, although the selection of food in the inn with about 5 different dishes is not very big ... In which inn is it so that you do not manage to cook 3 Schnitzel and 3 Zander, which you could have prepared for a long time? Even the waiters were at a loss where the food stays so long! The only bright spot in the country inn was the friendly service, but she can be so nice and make an effort if no food comes ... I can not comment on the food itself, as we could not wait 6 more people. We then went without eaten, drove home hungry. In summary, I can only advise everyone from going to the country inn to eat! So I have to give the bad rating, if I could not give a star, I would not give one. I've never rated anything here, but today I could not help it! Only one more question to the operator: How can you operate an inn if you do not even get your turn to provide your guests with food in a humane period of time ?!

I was here for the first time since the new Wits people and unfortunately very disappointed! First of all a big plus for the really cozy beer garden with the incredibly comfortable chairs ... you can really take it here! Cold drinks and good price ... I think that's good too! That there is no more iced coffee at 4 on Sunday afternoon because the coffee is out ...? This can not be! Furthermore the noodles were all, and the turkey breast and and and! To top it off, the chicken nuggets weren't completely done! Absolute no-go !!! The service was very friendly and hard-working, but rather uncoordinated and not very professional (sad to hear this food? Four instead of 2 side salads; the children got the meal for a quarter of an hour after everyone else had already finished; 25 minutes waited to pay ...) Food so far ok but nothing special ... a shame, because there is nothing else in the rain valley ... Or maybe I just had a bad day ... I'll try one more time

Sooooo nice that this is open again and it has found very nice hosts. If you are on the rain by boat or cycling, you should stop here. Super economy with hearty home cooking at fair prices.

After the innkeeper change we were there again eat. Food was very good. Catering was nice. Sunday lunchtime there is a buffet with 3 main courses, salad and desserts, also cakes. But you can only take a single court and then pay a little less. We like to come back for dinner. Overall, prices could be a little lower, drinks. The normal menu, on Sunday from 15 o'clock is manageable, but there are also vegetarian and a vegan dish. ,

Nice that the country inn in Heilinghausen again open with very friendly service. Beautiful beer garden and good food, ideally located right on the bike path and worth a stop.
